Delhi Session Judge Talwant Singh visited Holy Bein.

He acclaimed Sant Seechewal's work

On his visit to Holy Bein Delhi Session Judge Talwant Singh acclaimed the social welfare works of environment lover Sant Balbir
Singh Ji Seechewal. Sant Seechewal while showing the Holy Bein in the boat to the visiting Judge brifed him about the purity of the water of the Bein and told that Nature itself is capable of purifying the water resources but the greed of man is making the water poisonous and contaminated. On this occasion the T.D.S of the water of Holy Bein was checked and it was less than that of ground water.
           Later the Judge also visited the village Seechewal. There he also saw that pond which has got the fame as Seechewal Model. Sant Seechewal told that the treated water of the village is being used for irrigation purpose, Due to which ground water is being saved. Drinking water is being supplied round the clock in the village. He said that if this model is installed on 18000 ponds in the 12500 villages of Punjab then ground water can be saved in large scale. On this occasion a plant was also planted in village Seechewal by the visiting Judge.

                    On this Juncture, the Session Judge and his wife were honored on the Holy Bein Bank. Advocate Balbir Singh Billing, Village Sarpanch Rajwant Kaur, Harjinder Singh Kotla, Surjit Singh Shanti, Gurbakhsh Kaur, Kulwinder Singh and other Sewadar’s were also present on this occasion.
