Richness and legal set up of some country can be measured by three things, that is purity of its Air, Water and Earth -Sant Seechewal.

The students of Law Department of Saint Soldier College Jalandhar, under the leadership of Principal Simmi Thind and Prof Kranti Kumar today visited Holy kali bein at Sultanpur lodhi and met Padma Shree Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal and honored him by giving a momento of honour. During addressing law students of the college and 45 cadets of N.N.S unit Sant Seechewal said that the richness and legal set up of some country can be measured by three things those are it's pure water, pure air and pure earth. But it is our bad luck that these three things don't exist in our country. Air, water and food all are polluted. He said that in 1988 the ground water level at Seechewal was 14 feet deep, now it is 100ft. We can assume from it that where we are taking our coming generations. On this occasion Sant Seechewal told the law students, while referring to the methods of the Seechewal model for saving water, air and Earth from pollution. Sant seechewal referring to polluted Kala Sangian etc drains said that laws are made but they are not enforced, If 1974 act is properly enforced then neither any city nor any drain will become dirty. Sant Seechewal said that firstly this is the work of Executive and If Executive fails then legislation should take action and if legislation fails then Judiciary should take action but the role of all the three is disappointing in saving environment pollution and natural resources of water. He said that if Judiciary wishes it can play a decisive role over pollution. He said that humanity is in danger due to pollution and to save it human rights commission should come forward. He said that millions of people are affected and 1.5
crores people of Malwa and Rajasthan area are drinking sewage mixed water of Sutlej as dirty waters and sewage waste of Jalandhar, Phagwara and Ludhiana is being thrown in the Sutlej river. Human rights commission should do something about it. A question mark on the working of Pollution Control Board, Sant Seechewal said that it's working is limited to merely issuing of notices. Sant Seechewal said that you are law students and it is necessary for you to come forward and raise your voice in favour of people’s welfare works. Pure air, pure water and pure earth is a big need of the hour. Only depending on the government's won't help, we all have to make joint efforts to save air, water and earth, Then only some good can be expected. He said that the youths can change the destiny and the look of the nation, So, the youths should come forward unitedly to save the environment. On this occasion all the students in the presence of Sant Seechewal pledged to keep the environment clean, at Guru Nanak Multimedia Sikh Museum at Nirmal Kuteya Sultanpur Lodhi.
