The dirty waters of the three villages of Dera Baba
Nanak will be disposed off on the pattern of the Seechewal Model. Panchyat
members and other dignitaries of these villages of Dera Baba Nanak who came to
see the Seechewal Model saw that how the water was treated and use for
agriculture purposes. There is not any bad smell in the disposal of dirty water.
S.D.O PWD S. Harjinder Singh of Gurdaspur told who accompainted the dignitaries
told that M.L.A Sukhjinder Singh of their constituency has deputed him to study
the Seechewal Model to solve the problem of
the dirty of these villages. More
than 100 responsible people including women women from these villages to came
see the Seechewal Model in order to solve the dirty water problem.
Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal told them that the Seecheewal Model is the cheapest and simple way to treat the dirty water. If the Punjab Government adopt this Model in the whole state then the ground water can be solved on large scale.
Panchayats were astonished to see that there was not a single open drain in the village of Seechewal. The village is quite neat and clean and there were beautiful flower beds in the front of each house.
At this juncture Sarpanch Nishan Singh, Lakhbir
Singh, Ex. Sarpanch Makhan Singh, Kulwant Singh, Jaswant Singh and others told
that they had not seen such arrangement of disposal of dirty water anywhere in
Punjab..
