Punjab Police to take the help of guidance from the Environment lover Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal in the campaign of making the state lush green.

The Police officials instructed to make the arrangement for the plantaion of trees before rainy season.

  The Punjab Police will be take the help of environment lover Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal in the campaign of making the state clean and tidy. The plantation on large scale will be done in the Police stations and in other police offices. D.G.P Punjab Police has issued the instructions to make the arrangement. A special meetings was held a few days back between Sant Seechewal and D.G.P Mr. Suresh Arora. The instructions to make the arrangement for the plantation before the start of rains have been issued.

    Sant Seechewal said that today, he had a meeting with the I.G Jalandhar Zone Mr. Naunihal Singh to finalise the places where the Police will be co-operating in the plantation. Sant Seechewal Said that the joint efforts are needed to keep the environment clean and tidy. So all the political, religious and social institutions should come forward to make the Punjab lush green and to reinstnall its old glory of clean waters and refreshing air. He added that the forest area of Punjab has already shrinked. If trees are planted on large scale only the ground water could be saved and rainfull possibilities could be increased.
