On the pious day of Maggie a Nagar Kirtan was organised from Nirmal Kutiya Seechewal. The Nagar Kirtan under the leadership of Shree Guru Granth Sahib Ji and Panj Pyare going through different villages ended at Nirmal kutiya. The villages through which the Nagar Kirtan passed, there 5 plants were planted by environment lover sant balbir Singh seechewal and sangats. Sant Seechewal appealed the sangats to plant 550 plants in every village before 550th prakash purb of Guru nanak Dev Ji and to make the state lush green. Because gurbani connects a person to nature and teach us to live close to the nature.
The sangats of the villages at every place welcomed the sangats and specially served them with tea and pakoras Langars. It is worth mentioning that the paths through which Nagar Kirtan passed had been specifically cleaned and decorated for the last many days. Many religious dignitaries were also present in the Nagar Kirtan, they include sant Pargat Nath from Rahim Pur and Sant Gurmej Singh Said rana Sahib. This Nagar Kirtan passing through Chak Chela, Nihaluwal, Mureed Wal, Kasupur, Rupewali adda, Raiwal and Maalpur again reached Nirmal Kutiya Seechewal. Thousands of sangats were present in the Nagar Kirtan. Sant Seechewal and kirtani jathas enriched the sangats with gurbani sermons.
