2nd round of karsewa to clean the bottom of Sutlej river starts:- Sant Seechewal

Joint places of the villages being rejuvenated with the removed soil from the gates of Gidderpindi Bridge. Sultanpur Lodhi, 21st February Renowned Environment Lover Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal has restarted the second face of the karsewa of cleaning the gates of Gidderpindi bridge, made over the Sutlej river, that is known as the life line of Punjab. During 2020, with the consent of railway department and DC Jalandhar, day night karsewa to clean the gates of Gidderpindi Bridge was started. Due to accumulation of soil under the bridge gates in decades, capacity of passing of the rainy water had lessened, that became the cause of floods in 2008 and 2019 and those caused a great destruction in Lohian, Sultanpur Lodhi and Shahkot area. Due to rise in the bottom of the river, accumulation of the soil in the gates, weakness of the bundhs and illegal possession in the river on large scale, the people of dozens of villages have to face the problem of the floods. The farmers should return to Natural Farming - Sant Seechewal

  Farmers invited to strengthen the basic structure of Cooperative Field 200 canvas (tirpals) distributed at Singhu border. Environment lover Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal addressing the Kisan Morcha on the doors of Delhi requested the farmers to return to natural farming. On the Singhu border he requested the Kisan Jathebandian to take the initiative and to encourage the farmers to return to natural farming as the governments are not going to form such policies that could return the farmers towards natural farming. Farmers issue was strongly recommended during Nagar Kirtan

  During Nagar Kirtan Sant Seechewal distributed 551 plants as prashad Sultanpur Lodhi 30th November During 551th Prakash Purb of Shree Guru Nanak Dev Ji, that started from Gurdwara Gurprakash Nirmal Kutiya, 551 plants were distributed to the sangat as prashad by Sant Seechewal Ji. This Nagar Kirtan starting from Nirmal Kutiya and going through Gurdwara Sant Ghat, Gurdwara Guru Ka Bagh, Gurdwara Hut Sahib and Gurdwara Ber Sahib concluded at Gurdwara Gurprakash Nirmal Kutiya. Nagar Kirtan was warmly welcomed at all places and langars were served everywhere. Drishti Foundation Canada donated four computers to the government schools.

  Sultanpur Lodhi, 5th December In order to connect the children with the today's eras Drishti Foundation of Canada donated four computers of modern technology to four govt schools in Abohar and Fazilka districts. Drishti Foundation with the cooperation of Ek Onkar Charitable Trust Seechewal has been donating towards social welfare works for a long time. Sewadar Gurwinder Singh Boparai and Pardeep Yadav on behalf of foundation and trust went there and installed the computers in those four schools. Those schools where computers have been donated are in the villages of Dharangawala, Bhangala, Kikker Khera and Panjawa Mandal schools. At the time of donation ceremony villages sarpanch, school principal and other social workers were also present and they thanked Environment Lover Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal Ji for their motivation towards this help by Drishti Foundation for this good cause.   8th anniversary of the Punjab's first Avtar Community Radio in the villages, was celebrated at Nirmal Kutiya Sultanpur Lodhi. On this occasion the dignitaries connected with the Media participated and praised the role being played by the Avtar Radio towards environment. Senior journalist Jatinder Singh Pannu told that there has been much disaster in the name of development. He said that today enough has been destroyed to gain profits. He said where Environment Lover Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal has shown way to Punjab and the nation by cleaning the Holy Bein of Baba Nanak, there also the Avtar Radio has been running successfully for the last 8 years.
